Mistake #1: Using the Wrong Cable or Charger While that old, generic cable might look like it's doing the job, it could be harming your battery. Using a cheap or mismatched charger can lead to inconsistent power flow, overheating, and slower charging times. Over time, this can degrade the battery's health. The Fix: Always use the original charger that came with your phone. If you need a replacement, invest in a high-quality, certified third-party charger and cable from a reputable brand.
