Huawei has officially unveiled its proprietary HarmonyOS 4.0 platform along with the innovative NearLink wireless data transmission technology. This technology was developed in collaboration with over 300 leading Chinese and international enterprises and organizations.
According to Huawei, NearLink technology represents a significant advancement in wireless data transmission, harnessing the strengths of both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. In comparison to existing wireless protocols, NearLink offers a 60% reduction in power consumption and achieves data rates six times faster. Communication delay has been decreased by a factor of 30, while the number of simultaneous connections has been expanded by a factor of 10. This new protocol is well-suited for simultaneously connecting multiple devices and can seamlessly integrate into industrial systems.
