According to reports from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple is planning to refresh its M1-powered iMac, which was originally launched in 2021. The focus of this refresh is expected to be on the chip side, with Apple working on a more powerful model that will utilize the upcoming M3 Silicon.
Gurman also mentions that Apple is developing an iMac with a larger 32-inch display. This model is said to resemble the Apple Pro Display XDR, featuring a 32-inch IPS LCD panel, 6K resolution, and 10-bit colors. However, it is unlikely that the 32-inch iMac with the M3 chip will be available in the near future, as the design process is still in the early stages.
Current estimates suggest that the 24-inch iMac with the M3 Silicon will be introduced in early 2023. As for the 32-inch model, it is expected to be launched later, potentially in late 2024 or 2025.
